Team Member Spotlight: Lan Nguyen, our Enterprise Business Tech and Data Expert!
We are thrilled to feature Lan Nguyen, who joined the organization in September 2021 as our Enterprise Business Technologist. With an outstanding background in market research, business intelligence solutions, and a passion for innovation, Lan has made a significant impact on our operations and strategic market growth initiatives over the past years.
Today, Lan is at the forefront of driving our business intelligence roadmap. In her role at Jones, she leads the integration of advanced technological solutions across our business units, ensuring seamless connectivity between our systems. By envisioning and building automated dashboards and self-service analytic capabilities, she empowers our teams to make informed, data-driven decisions swiftly.
With a range of tools including Power BI, Tableau, Power Automate, and SQL, Lan delivers seamless and efficient data solutions while maintaining a reliable and scalable data infrastructure to support our growing needs.
Lan recently earned the Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) credential from Salesforce, showcasing her dedication to innovation and her commitment to the organization’s success. We’re thrilled to have Lan in our Market Growth team.

Meet Lan Nguyen!
Q: Tell us about yourself.
As an Enterprise Business Technologist in the Market Growth department at Jones Healthcare Group, I’ve spent the past three years specializing in business intelligence and technology development. My role involves empowering business leaders with data-driven insights and optimizing business processes for functional teams. Being part of such a dynamic and forward-thinking company has been immensely fulfilling, and I’m passionate about continuing to contribute to our innovative journey.
My perfect day would be being surrounded by nature, plan a trip and discover new places, especially during the summer when the beauty of the outdoors is at its peak. When I am feeling most inspired, I find joy in gardening because it allows me to recharge and connect with nature on a more personal level.
I am a very curious person, both inside and outside of work so I genuinely enjoy learning and exploring new things, always seeking out opportunities to expand my knowledge and experience.
Q: What is one thing that you wish people knew about your job?
One thing I wish people knew about my job is the intricate balance between technical expertise and understanding business needs. It’s not just about developing data models; it’s about creating solutions that are intuitive and impactful, ultimately contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
Every day, I get to blend my passion for technology with a deep understanding of our business goals, ensuring that the solutions we develop are not only technically sound but also aligned with our strategic objectives. This synergy is what makes my role so rewarding and essential to our success.
Q: In your opinion, what are some key values that drive the company culture?
I am a firm believer that having approachable and open-minded leadership encourages everyone to share their ideas and voice their opinions freely, and that’s exactly what we have here at Jones.
Celebrating and recognizing each other’s successes and milestones is also very important to foster a sense of belonging. Lastly, working together towards common goals not only strengthens team bonds but also leads to outstanding results, so collaboration makes a workplace inspiring and rewarding.
Q: What is the most interesting project you’ve worked on at Jones?
While I’ve enjoyed every project, I’ve had the privilege to work on, the Production Performance Power BI model stands out as a true highlight. It was a complex and challenging (yet incredibly exciting!) endeavor that required meticulous planning and precise execution. The journey was filled with learning and growth, and the most rewarding part was witnessing its significant impact on improving our production efficiency.
Seeing how our efforts translated into tangible improvements for the company was immensely gratifying, and it reinforced my passion for creating solutions that drive real-world results.
Q5: What do you value the most about Jones?
For me, it is Jones’ incredible family-like culture. Overall, we spend 2/3 of our day at work, so being in an environment where I genuinely feel happy and excited to come to work every morning is very important to me. The collaborative spirit among colleagues drives us to achieve our business goals together, and the supportive atmosphere makes the workday enjoyable.
After a workday, I have the energy and enthusiasm to enjoy my personal plans, so it is a perfect balance that makes every day rewarding.
