Featured Symposium: Transforming Community Pharmacy – The Spanish Experience
On Tuesday, September 1, Jones Healthcare Group and Venalink will host an early morning symposium exploring how community pharmacy can play a greater role in supporting patients, improving medication adherence and helping healthcare systems become more sustainable.
The session, From dispensing to delivering outcomes: How integrated pharmacy services and collaboration are reshaping community pharmacy in Spain, will examine how Spain has evolved community pharmacy beyond traditional medication dispensing toward integrated, patient-centred services supported by collaboration among pharmacists, healthcare professionals, governments and regulators. The symposium will explore the role of professional pharmacy services, including Systems for Personalized Dosage (SPD), in improving adherence, patient safety and health outcomes. It will also consider how innovation and emerging technologies can support pharmacists in delivering more effective care.
